Illustration is one of my favorite facets of design, and I especially enjoy doing illustrations for books. appreciate a chapter book, not just a children’s book, that makes room for a few good illustrations. Here are a few full-page and full-spread illustrations for one of the darker classics, and a favorite of mine, Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”.

ref. As one of Dracula pictures, the picture of Vlad the Impaler shows terror in the midst of peaceful lunch time. The remark on the picture is as follows:

Illustration from German chronicles of the time. This is a scene of the impalement. Vlad Tepes aka Vlad the Impaleris watching the operation from a table, having his lunch and drinking wine. The picture is not necessary relevant to the image of Romanian prince, because the Germanic sources was affected by the myths and political interests.

Vlad III Dracula (1431 ? December 1476), has also been known as Dracula or Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Tepes). Vlad III was the voivode, or prince, of the principality of Wallachia (what is today an informal region in southern Romania). His surname 'Dracula' seems to come from his father's surname 'Dracul', due to the 'Order of the Dragon' he got from the Emperor Sigismund.

Introducing Shin, Saimdang (1504-1551, Korean artist, writer, calligraphist, noted poet and the mother of the Korean Confucian scholar Yulgok) 





Nearly 500 years were needed to push the red button. 
She was the first woman and the first artist 
whose face became printed on paper money in Korea.

He pushed the red button for "MORTALITY BOMB" on December 5, 2013. MORTALITY was terminated, and, now, we've got to know that his life is an IMMORTAL poem. For the evidence of the event, please refer to the poem below which was dedicated to Nelson Mandela.

Why am I sad about your death?
Why are tears falling down from my eyes to the Earth?



My mother is sick.
I wish her to live at least 
until I achieve something she must be proud of.



Because I couldn't have achieved yet 
something you must be proud of,
am I sad ?



No, I am not.
I am sad, 
because I wished you to live much longer
like a tall tree living 8 thousand years.



In fact,
I don't know what is the "something"
you and my mother must be proud of.



I know only one thing -
You spread countless seeds to the world, and
One of them landed on my Earth
which my mother had presented to me.



Now, 
my tears are falling down upon my Earth 
and going to awaken the seed. 



The seed will open wide and 
show me a world
where light and darkness live together.  



I walk into the world,  
and see a tall tree 
spreading countless seeds to the air.
